# Sales Talk Role-Play Scenarios

## Rule for every scenario

Start with discovery questions. State only what source materials support. If information is missing, say it needs confirmation and assign a next action; do not promise a price, delivery date, certification or customization capability.

## Scenario A · First inquiry

A German distributor asks whether the factory can support a private-label hand-tool range. The message gives no product SKU, target quantity, market channel, packaging request or target delivery date.

Practice: write the first five discovery questions and a neutral next step.

## Scenario B · OEM requirement discussion

Use `oem-brief.md` as the only source for the buyer’s requested product, case color, logo, labels, barcode, trial quantity, target price, shipment target and responsibilities.

Practice: separate confirmed buyer requests, seller actions and `To Be Confirmed` items.

## Scenario C · Artwork delay follow-up

Use `weekly-notes.md` as the only source. The German bilingual label artwork is two days late; the buyer needs a status update.

Practice: acknowledge the issue, state the next internal action and avoid promising a revised shipment date before confirmation.

## Role-play scoring

Score each role play from 0–2 for discovery questions, fact accuracy, boundary control and next action. A passing response scores at least 6/8 and contains no unsupported promise.
